Help with Play Sessions

Immediately following completion of the beginner lessons, we provide 4 help with play sessions where you can practice and apply what you have learnt to date. You will play pre-set boards and will discuss each hand upon completion of play.

Following lessons, beginners transition into our supervised play sessions, in which they can continue skill development within a friendly atmosphere. Once beginners have had some time in supervised play, we hold improver lessons. These lessons address more complex aspects of the game to enable increasing participation and success within our club competitive sessions.

Improver Lessons

Continuous sessions will be provided to build on your knowledge of bidding, responding, declarer play and defensive strategies. These sessions will allow you to add to your knowledge and experience and you will be able to ask questions in a friendly and supportive environment.

Supervised Play Sessions

Once a player is confident to play using their knowledge and skills acquired to date, they are encouraged to participate in our supervised play sessions. Here, they will be able to play bridge with people of a similar level with access to advice and support as required. These sessions are held on:

Thursday at 9.30 am - noon

Tuesday at 7.00pm - 10pm

Saturday (tba)

Note:

Help with Play, Improver and Supervised play sessions are all provided at a cost of $8 for members and $9 for non-members and are scheduled the same time as the beginner lessons you attended.
